The Violence Reduction Network (VRN) are currently tendering for providers to deliver Education, Training and Employment (ETE) support and Sport and Recreational opportunities to young people.
The service is being procured as part of a wider project, The Reach Custody Project, currently being mobilised to deliver within a custody suite in Leicester. The project is being implemented to mentor and support young people living in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland who come into custody having committed or with a recent history of committing a violent offence or carrying a weapon. Eligible young people will also be those involved in a gang or criminal exploitation or who present with other known risk factors of violence.
The role of the specialist provider(s) will be to work with young people that have engaged with the service.
