Interventions
Specialist Providers: Sports and Physical Activity
VRN priority: Prevention (Secondary and Tertiary) Diversion, Community
Reach: 11-25 year olds across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland
This specialist service, delivered by our partner Leicester City in the Community contributes to the prevention and reduction of serious violence by providing expert advice and facilitating swift and concrete opportunities for sport and physical activity for young people who are being supported by existing VRN interventions.

Following an initial assessment of interests, hobbies and needs, Leicester City in the Community will engage young people in a range of different activities including taster sessions, enrolment in local clubs and access to leisure centres and gyms.
